The Value of Art: Auctioned AIC Student Creations Benefit Springfield's Homeless

Artwork created by American International College students Trahmier Burrell, Shannoya Scott, Chanelle Brodeur, Devonte' Dillion and Wahjerjay Blango, along with Professor Nordell's creation, raised a total of $324 at the benefit art auction held by Friends of the Homeless.

According to Sarah Tanner at Friends of the Homeless,

"$324 is just about 162 meals—or one average dinner service.  The other way to look at that is 10 people in shelter for the evening.

Either way, it has huge ramifications for our ability to serve!"

Below are scenes from the show.  Click to see the artwork.
